A student-run convention has always been desired by students at the University of South Florida, and in 2014 the first attempt was made to create BullCon. The students in the Video Game Club, Anime Club, and Table-top and Roleplay Club decided to come together to begin construction of BullCon. Joined in their efforts by the Japanese Club, Trading Card Game Club, and Foam Fighting Club, these students toiled for over a year to create this convention.
